社会やビジネスは、人間と技術、制度によるシステムと考えられます。情報技術はシステムをつなぎ、技術面に加えて利害関係などのソーシャルな面も複雑さを増しています。
本研究室は、これらの社会システムや技術システムのあるべき姿を、モデリング、シミュレーション、データ分析、チームワークショップによるデザイン手法の構築に取り組んでいます。
Society and business can be thought of as a system of people, technology, and institutions. The sophistication of information technology connects the systems, and in addition to the technical aspects, social aspects such as interests are becoming more complex.
Our laboratory is engaged in supporting and advancing the human intellectual activity of designing what these social and technological systems should be by means of descriptive modeling, simulation, data analysis, and team workshops.

Mst Taskia Khatun (D4) completed the Ph.D. course. Kazuho Nonomura (M2) and Shiyuan Wang (M2) completed the Master's course. Takuto Ojima (B4) and Yuki Maeda (B4) graduated from Department of Systems Innovation, Faculty of Engineering. Kazuho Nonomura won the Excellent Student Award of The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers.

M2の王世元が人工知能学会 第12回市民共創知研究会（JSAI SIG-CCI） で口頭発表を行い、ベスト・プラクティス賞を受賞しました。
Shiyuan WANG (M2) delivered an oral presentation at the 12th Special Interest Group on Crowd Co-creative Intelligence (SIG-CCI) of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence and received the Best Practice Award.

本研究室が共催している高度教養次世代セミナー「儒教の女性観」が2023年10月30日（月曜日）13時～15時 に開かれます。
内容：儒教は男女差別の思想と言われますし、たしかにそうした面を持っています。その象徴的な例が『論語』の「ただ女子と小人をのみ養いがたしとなす」です。しかし孔子のこの発言については、その真意をめぐってさまざまな解釈が歴代の儒者たちによってなされてきました。それらの解釈内容を紹介し、あわせて儒教の書物で女性に言及している他の諸事例も扱って、儒教の女性観を概観してみます。
